The worst gift experience I ever had was 2 birthdays ago when I got a bunch of things I didn't really want, like cheap plates and CDs I already owned, and TV series I have never watched. It was horrible, but of course you keep smiling because you have to pretend to be appreciative even when you are dying inside. But a good lesson is to try to pay attention to other people's love language and give that to them as well. I am totally the same!
