So, last night I took a prescription sleep aid for the first time in my life, and it really put me out! Unfortunately, it put me out for ten hours AND I was still tired all day. The added bonus which I hadn’t anticipated was a night full to the brim with the most random and awful nightmares ever. Seriously, I’m not at all sure where they came from…I don’t even watch scary movies!

The worst, most prolonged nightmare involved a giant squid that was killing people in large numbers. I was part of a team that went out to try and fight the monster, but first we found this lair on the bottom of the ocean where the giant squid was keeping some of his victims. THEN there was a separate tented lair where there was just a huge pile of dead people. The crowning touch was that me and the team of people watched as the squid found several people on a boat and proceeded to eat them. Graphically.

I told my friend Greg about this, and he said: “The curse of being such a creative person I suppose.
I wonder what boring people have nightmares about…Probably themselves.”

HAHAHA! Now, that’s a silver lining. Certainly none of MY readers are boring people, but what do you guys think boring people dream about, besides themselves?
