I just saw an example of this usage error in book two of the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series, “Percy Jackson and the Sea of Monsters.” I have to say, this is a new one on me. I’ve never actually seen it in print. WOW what an oversight!

As if that wasn’t bad enough, there were missing words and other simple typos that I just couldn’t believe made it out of Disney/Hyperion. Looks like Rick Riordan’s editor, Jen Besser, is an executive editor there. What the WHAT???
